Orianna and Greg’s Old San Juan wedding captured everything that makes Puerto Rico such a magical destination: romance, history, and luxury. Their celebration unfolded at two of the island’s most iconic wedding venues: Hotel El Convento and Castillo San Cristóbal. The day began with getting ready moments in the timeless suites of El Convento, continued with a heartfelt ceremony overlooking the sea at Castillo San Cristóbal, and came full circle back at El Convento, where guests gathered under candlelight and Spanish colonial charm.

Getting Ready at Hotel El Convento

The morning unfolded in the heart of Old San Juan, inside the warm yellow walls of Hotel El Convento. The colonial balconies and Spanish tile floors created a romantic backdrop as Orianna slipped into her dress and Greg prepared with his groomsmen.

They also took this quiet time to exchange gifts, a tradition that made the anticipation even sweeter. Orianna surprised Greg with a Rolex, while he gifted her a diamond necklace to wear during the ceremony. These thoughtful gestures added a layer of intimacy and refinement to their getting ready moments, setting the tone for the celebration ahead.

A First Look at Castillo San Cristóbal in Old San Juan

The day began at the fortress walls of Castillo San Cristóbal, where centuries-old stone met the soft light of the Caribbean sky. Orianna and Greg shared their first look against the backdrop of ocean and city views.

It was a quiet, intimate moment—just the two of them—before the whirlwind of the celebration began. The fortress’ arches and hidden passageways gave us a canvas rich with history, a perfect setting to capture both grand portraits and tender in-between glances. For couples planning a Castillo San Cristóbal wedding, this historic site offers a balance of drama and intimacy unlike anywhere else in Old San Juan.

With anticipation in the air, Orianna and Greg moved from their first look to a new setting within Castillo San Cristóbal, this time overlooking the sea. The fortress, with its sweeping ocean views and centuries-old walls, became a breathtaking stage for their vows. Guests sat facing the coastline as the golden light of the afternoon bathed the historic stone.

After the ceremony, we walked through the charming streets of Old San Juan for portraits, capturing the colorful architecture and vibrant energy of the city before heading to the reception.

Reception at Hotel El Convento

As evening fell, everyone returned to Hotel El Convento to celebrate. The historic courtyard glowed with candlelit tables and the sounds of laughter filling the air. When the party began, vibrant laser lights transformed the space into an energetic dance floor where guests celebrated late into the night.
