MY PHILOSOPHIES AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
1. Close to What Matters
Your wedding photos should bring you back to what mattered most: the people you love, the atmosphere of the day, and the moments that passed too quickly. More than a timeline or a collection of portraits, your wedding is a story shaped by feeling, presence, and details chosen with care. Our role is to guide when needed, observe with care, and preserve it in a way that feels romantic, refined, and true to you.
3. Gentle Direction
You do not need to know how to pose. Most couples don’t. My role is to guide you with simple direction so you feel comfortable, never stiff or lost in front of the camera. Sometimes I will step in to create a more editorial portrait, and other times I will step back so the moment can happen on its own. That balance is where the best images often live.
2. Documentary With an Editorial Eye
I am drawn to the moments that happen naturally: your family’s reactions, your friends celebrating, the quiet pauses, and the way you look at each other when no one is asking you to. But I also care deeply about light, composition, movement, and atmosphere. Your gallery should feel true to the day, while still feeling artful, intentional, and refined.
4. A Calm Experience
A wedding day holds a lot: family, timelines, details, emotion, and so many people you love in one place. As a husband and wife team, Zulem and I approach the day with care, patience, and awareness. We want you to feel supported, not rushed. Our role is to guide when needed, observe with intention, and help you stay close to the experience while we preserve it for you.
